Temperature: Average warmth.
Light: A bright spot away from direct sunlight. A few hours of winter sun are beneficial.
Water: Water freely when plant is in flower, but do not keep compost constantly soggy.
Air Humidity: Moist air is needed – surround pots with damp peat and mist air around plant.
Care after flowering: Tuberous begonias- at end of flowering season withhold water, cut off shoots, lift tubers and store in peat. Other types are usually discarded – otherwise cut back and keep cool with little water. Increase water in spring.
